Warranty Terms & Conditions
- Warranty period is for 6 or 12 months from the date of invoice being issued or 20,000 kilometres.
- All warranty claims are to be returned to Statewide Gearbox Services for immediate inspection and rectification of any problem. Statewide Gearbox Services will not be responsible for the costs associated with any such returns. Shipping / transit etc.Any work carried out on our products without prior consent will also void warranty.
- No warranty is given on broken gears or shafts, these type of failures result from overloading, neglect or abuse.
- No warranty is given on vehicles modified from standard. These include race, rally and competition vehicles. Use of a heavy duty clutch will void warranty.
- Gearboxes must be fitted by a licensed vehicle repairer. Statewide Gearbox Services may ask for a invoice from any such repairer in regards to any warranty disputes.
- Please ensure all units are filled with the correct oil type as our units contain no oil when supplied to the customer. If you are unsure of oil type please ring Statewide Gearbox Services on 03 9837 5444 for help regarding this matter as the wrong oil type can severely damage the gearbox.
- Accommodation or loss of income will not be covered under a warranty claim
